Leaf Piles, Homecomings, and Bonfires

Slippery Rock University Homecoming draws us back to Pennsylvania every fall(well, unless we plan other fun things - namely mountains or beaches). Typically, Homecoming falls over Fall Break, so it's super convenient. This year, not so much. Nevertheless, we took off for a long weekend in the Keystone State.

Libby and Anna really enjoyed this rest stop area somewhere in the doldrums of Ohio. Green grass and a plethora of leaves were an anomaly that needed to explored and enjoyed!

The Slippery Rock Homecoming game did not disappoint! Well, I should say, the Slippery Rock marching band did not disappoint (although the football team did win over Lockhaven). Can you see them in the distance?

We met up with our best college-days friends, another annual fall tradition. It's great to see how our children get along better every time we meet up! A good time is always ensured! This trip we spent the evening at Dave and Buster's in Pittsburgh - love that Skeeball!!

Sunday afternoon my dad flared up a fire in the "druid circle" and the family came in from around New Castle.
Libby thoroughly enjoyed Dominion and Cammy.

Grandma and Grandpa "A" swang and soaked in the beautiful October afternoon.

Here's Sydney! She really, really loves her Nana! =)

What a great weekend!
