10 Months Old

Dear Eva Kate,

What a busy month!

You tried new foods,

celebrated your very first Thanksgiving (and ate more new foods),

helped to decorate for Christmas,

played with your big sisters,

snuggled with Momma,

really enjoyed more new foods,

got into everything,

got a new big girl car seat,

tried out the Pebbles 'do,

and still had a blast splashing in the sink!

This month we also sleep trained you.  After several weeks of no sleep and many, many middle of the night wakings, your crib was moved to your bedroom and you surprised us by transitioning easily to solo sleep through the night!

Way to go, Baby Girl!

10 months old

Nine Months Old

Dear Eva Kate,

Another month has come and gone!

You're 9 months old and I just can't believe it!

You are on the move constantly.

I think Grandma A would love to know another baby was playing under her table...

You love your sisters, especially when they read to you!

You're beginning to find the pleasure in swinging, which is a huge improvement from before when you would curl yourself into the fetal position when we tried to swing you.

The weather continued to be perfect for long days outdoors!

Baby gates went up to keep you safe and contained!

You're definitely into the solid food thing.  You love you pick up pieces and feed yourself.

We had our first Halloween in Pennsylvania and your big sisters brought home LOTS of candy, very little of which you were able to get your hands on.

Grammy and Pop pop came to visit you and brought whoopie pies, which were "Eva Kate approved"!

The cats are not sure what to think of your new mobile self.  No place is safe!
